NIKON M-223 BDC 600 8487 2-8x32 Riflescope (Black) Description

Built to deliver extreme speed, accuracy and shooting confidence, the Nikon M-223 riflescope provides AR shooters a versatile power range. This 2-8x32 version of the M-223 provides unprecedented speed in dialing in your shots for virtually any known distance--from zero out to 600 yards--and it offers Nikon's BDC 600 reticle. And like all the riflescopes in the M-223, this model features Nikon's fully multicoated optics, up to 95 percent light transmission, waterproof/fogproof/shockproof performance, and a lifetime warranty.

BDC 600 Reticle

Developed specifically for the trajectory of the .223 Rem 5.56 NATO round with 55-grain polymer tip bullet, the new BDC 600 reticle offers shooters unique open circle aiming points and hash marks from 100 to 600 yards.

Ultra ClearCoat Optical System

Nikon has engineered the entire optical system to provide the shooter with a bright, sharp, incredibly flat sight picture and light transmission up to its theoretical maximum--95 percent.

Eye Box Technology

Every model features an impressive 4-time zoom range and four inches of constant, non-critical eye relief. A massive ocular lens delivers a huge, exceptionally bright, high-resolution sight picture.

Smooth Zoom Control

Magnification reference numbers are viewable from the shooter's position.

One-Piece Main Body Tubes

For minimum weight and maximum strength and durability.

Waterproof, Fogproof, Shockproof

Nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed.

Enhanced Ring Mount Spacing

Most M-223 models can be mounted to virtually any rifle action regardless of caliber--even magnum-length actions.

Superb scope, superb mount, excellent value and accurate., February 28, 2011 By Longrider33 (Pleasanton, CA)

This system from Nikon, both scope and mount are beautifully designed for the AR-platform rifles, both carbine and rifle length. Mounting is of course a "piece of cake", optics superb and adjustment logical, precise and repeatable. I am only recently returning to shooting the AR, having been an owner of a very early Colt AR-15 in the mid-sixties; had to sell it at one time and always wanted a replacement.

I have this scope mounted on a flat-top Smith & Wesson M&P-15 and am very pleased with both the installation and the performance. Sighting in was not a chore with a bore-mounted laser and the results have been everything I've hoped for.

Recommended to all.

I just my hands on one and it has my heavy barrl. .223 shooting just as tight at 100 yards as it did before. The range I am shooting at only goes out to 100 yards. Anyway, I shot targets using the 2nd and third circles and compared them to the elevation expected from the Nikon Spot On Ballistic Match Technology program and it all matched up for me. I used factory Winchester Supreme ammo too. I have also have 3 of the M-223 3-12x42SF with the Rapid action Turrets. These are a couple of my favorite optics to use. I have hit targets out ot 600 yards with the help of these scopes.

Great Scope, October 19, 2011 By Patrick S Taylor (ZIONSVILLE, IN, US)

This a great scope for the money and compliments my AR nicely. The BDC works great and have shot it out to 500 yards accurately. I will be getting another for my 6.8 that I am building too.
